The inspiring idea for Cornstars was born one Sunday morning over a breakfast with the family at our local Farmer’s Market. Having dedicated over 20 years working in the food industry, and spending 10 of those years as head chef in a bustling restaurant, Tamar, known as ‘The Kernel’, devoted the following months to meticulously planning, researching, testing, and crafting the unique offerings of Cornstars Fritter Co.
Our very first market stall made its debut at the Frenchs Forest Organic Food Markets in 2012. Since then, our beloved business (along with our family) has truly flourished and evolved!
In addition to our presence at various market stalls across Sydney serving hot fritters, we have proudly opened our very own café where we can showcase what we genuinely do and how we create our delicious fritters! We offer an enticing menu of fritters and other delectable goods six days a week.
We are incredibly proud that all our products are crafted in small batches, using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients.
